Case Study No 4 : Jameson Technologies

1. Product Description
Two entrepreneurs who are keen to introduce special products to the market place have formed this company. They had seen a gap in the market for a new torch using specially developed materials.

3. What we did
Jameson Technologies and Innovation Direct core team formed a close working relationship, working together on the process of evaluating, testing and helping with the development of the Day Glow Nite Glow Torch as well as assisting with input into the business plan and the Manufacturing routes of the product with the aid of the expertise within the Warwick Manufacturing Group.

4. Outcome
Jameson Technologies presented their prototype product to a number of retailers and distributors in the U.K as well as Europe and are received huge interest. This will assisted the SME in putting their final products onto shelves in the real world for further market testing and to gain customer awareness. They also looked to Warwick Manufacturing Group to endorse and help promote their device. The research project and development programme is now complete. The work has shown that they will be providing the market place with a product that will benefit the buyer with a Day Glow Nite Glow Torch. This is an innovative product that will save on searching time and effort when there is a power cut. The Company now are into full-scale production, and are now selling in various outlets worldwide.
